I would like to know about the possibility of writing CFA Exams in india. It is heard that right now exams are not conducted here. Is it true?

There is a legal battle going on between international CFA institute and ICFAI. Hence international CFA is not able to make India a permanent center.
However in the last few years, the June exam has been held in India in Mumbai/Delhi/Bangalore/Chennai/Kolkata and december exam has beeen offered in three cities Mumbai/Delhi and Bangalore.
At the time of registrations applicants generally chose Nepal/Colombo/Dubai/Singapore/HK etc as centers and generally about 2/3 months prior to exam, CFA institute gets court stay orders and gives applicants an option to change the center to India.
