ABOUT THE ACCA COURSE

The ACCA course prepares you for the ACCA Qualification, awarded by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, a UK-based global professional body. It has three levels (Knowledge, Expertise and Strategic Professional) and 11 exams. At Thane you can study all three with ProSchool in the classroom. No. ACCA is a UK-based global qualification awarded by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. CA is awarded by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. ACCA is recognised in 180+ countries, but it does not give signing rights for statutory audit in India, which stay with Chartered Accountants.

No. ACCA’s entry route is through the Applied Knowledge level, and your exemptions depend on your degree and prior papers. Check yours with the exemption calculator above.

Most likely, yes you do. However, exemptions are exclusively governed by ACCA’s policies and depend on qualifications and relevant work experience. Use the exemption calculator above, and an expert will confirm your position before you enrol.

Training takes about 9 months for Knowledge, 17 months for Expertise and 9 months for Strategic Professional. All three levels together take about 33 months of training. Your total time depends on the exemptions you get and how you schedule your exams.

CENTRE, BATCHES AND TIMINGS

Thane Center, 4th floor, New English High School, Ram Maruti Road, Naupada, Thane (W) 400602, about an 8 to 10 minute walk from Thane Railway Station or Gaondevi Bus Stop. Easy to reach from Mulund, Kalwa, Mumbra, Dombivli, Kalyan and Badlapur on the Central Line, and from Majiwada, Ghodbunder Road and Kopri by road.

Our Thane centre in Naupada serves students from Mulund, Kalwa, Mumbra, Dombivli, Kalyan and Badlapur. Central Line trains stop at Thane Railway Station, which is an 8 to 10 minute walk from the centre.

Knowledge, Expertise and Strategic Professional are all taught in the classroom at Thane.

Expertise batches start every month, on the 2nd Saturday. Knowledge and Strategic Professional batches start every quarter, in the 2nd week of December, March, June and September.

Weekday batches start late afternoon, and run 3 days a week, usually Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Weekend batches are morning or evening slots, held on both Saturday and Sunday.

Yes. You can switch to another centre at no extra cost, except if you upgrade from online to classroom mode, in which case you may be charged the incremental fee difference.

Yes. You can skip training for any papers and re-sit for them at a later date at no extra cost during the course validity period. This validity period is at a minimum, twice that of the training duration of your course.

Fees include GST and are the same on EMI. ACCA course fees start from ₹45,000 for Knowledge, ₹1.0 lakh for Expertise and ₹0.80 lakh for Strategic Professional (online batches; classroom fees are higher).
