I’m planning to register for the May 2025 CFA Level 1 exam and would like to avail of the early bird discount. However, I currently don’t have a credit card. Are there other payment methods available besides credit card, such as wire transfer or debit card?If I’m unable to register during the early bird period due to payment method constraints, are there any alternatives to secure the discount?

The CFA Institute provides 2 modes of payment
1. Credit card which is active for International Payment and
2. Pay by Invoice – This means that the CFA Institute generates an invoice providing 30 days for the students to pay the CFA Fees which includes the one-time registration and exam fees depending on whether you has opted for Early bird or Standard Registration. You need to take a printout of this invoice and visit the bank to further process the payment.

Unfortunately, there’s usually no way to retroactively claim the early bird discount. It’s tied to the specific registration window and payment deadline.
