Becoming an ACCA member presents you as a reputed ethical financial expert. It ensures you have a realm of opportunities to choose from and support of mentors who push you to keep learning and updating your knowledge.

Now, who wouldn’t want to be a part of a body whose goal is to build a profession that drives a sustainable future for all.

Let’s Understand The ACCA Membership Requirements First!

To become an ACCA member and enjoy all the benefits that come with it you need to complete 3 steps.

  1. Pass All ACCA Exams

ACCA has 13 exams in total. These exams are divided across three stages – Applied Knowledge, Applied Skills, and Strategic Professional. Some of these exams can be skipped based on your previous education background, though the 4 strategic professional exams are a must for every aspiring ACCA student.

The last step to qualify for ACCA membership is to complete your PER. Herein you need to get 36 months of practical experience in a relevant accountancy or finance role. The prerequisites for gaining your PER are:

    • Achieve 36 months of relevant work experience: This work experience must align with the ACCA’s standards for professional development.
    • Complete Nine Performance Objectives: You will need to demonstrate that you’ve met nine performance objectives aligned with the skills required for membership.
